Youth Solutions Welcomes Veronica Jackson as New Director of Communications

On March 3, we welcomed Veronica Jackson as Youth Solutions' new Director of Communications. Veronica’s background in corporate communication, writing, digital strategy, and corporate relations will be essential to developing and creating impactful, engaging communications strategies to advance the Youth Solutions’ mission of providing career-focused education.

Before joining Youth Solutions, Veronica managed global communications and marketing for LECO Corporation, a global manufacturer of laboratory instrumentation. During her 20 years at LECO, she led internal and external communications, product marketing, technical documentation, marketing materials, and corporate brand management. She was also part of the planning committees for several key events and initiatives throughout the organization. Prior to her time at LECO, Veronica also spent time in human resources and non-profit marketing. 

Veronica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Communication from Western Michigan University.  Outside of her professional work, Veronica enjoys writing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on her two young kids at their many sporting activities. Veronica also has a passion for mentoring teens and young adults, particularly helping them explore and experience careers in the fields of Marketing and Communications. “So many kids want to study ‘Marketing’ after high school. This is a great career path, but it has become extremely broad and a catch-all term,” she says. “What I love about what we do at Youth Solutions is giving youth the opportunity to explore career options within the fields they are interested in, so they can create a pathway that works for them and their skills.”
