We are excited to broadcast our first in person roundtable Coffee with a Purpose discussion live, via zoom, from the Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan.
As Part 1 of this 3-Part Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and YOUth series around the state, Julie Earle, Bridge Academy Student Success Manager for Kinexus Group, and Terri Albers, Population Health Specialist at Corewell Health (formerly Spectrum Health), will co-moderate this discussion with a panel of Jobs for Michigan's Graduates (JMG) youth from the Bridge Academy.
This 3-Part series will focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI); how it affects our youth today and how it is shaping their hopes for the future. By speaking with youth on their own experiences, the significance in everyone’s differences, the importance of empathy, and how we can consciously make space for everyone at the table, we not only are helping the next generation break the cycles of injustice but are learning from our future leaders on what we can do to help them achieve a more equitable tomorrow for all.
We hope you will join us! To learn more about the outstanding youth panelists who will be participating in this informative and collaborative discussion, visit our website.
