Legislative Day
February 25 & 26, 2025
Legislative Day is our annual event focused on empowering youth to engage with Michigan's policymakers, share their personal stories of success, and advocate for continued support of career-focused education. Meeting with legislators allows our young people to:

Build confidence by telling their own stories of growth and success.

Gain a firsthand understanding of how government works and exposure to career pathways in the public sector.

See that their voices matter and can create real change.

​By connecting directly with decision-makers, we not only advocate for the program’s sustainability but also give our youth a powerful, empowering experience.

Empower Youth Voices
2024 Legislative Champions
Youth participants honored four elected officials from around the state with the JMG Legislative Champion Award, an annual recognition for ongoing support of the work of Youth Solutions that helps young people succeed in education, employment, and in life.
