Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates is building a movement of stakeholders across the state that are committed to ensuring Michigan’s young people win in education, employment, and as citizens. JMG’s regional partners apply national solutions to our state’s local problem, using data to track success. Our programming spans urban and rural regions, driving statewide impacts that benefit Michigan’s overall economy.

Capital Area

The team at Capital Area Michigan Works! provides workforce development services across Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton Counties.


DESC is Detroit’s workforce agency and our largest service area, with nearly 500 students participating in programming through Detroit Public Schools, SER Metro, and Neighborhood Services Organization.

Genesee, Shiawassee, and Thumb Area

GST Michigan Works! serves Flint, Genesee, Shiawassee, Lapeer, Tuscola, Sanilac, and Huron counties.

Northeast Michigan

Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium works with Alpena Public School’s ACES Academy to provide alternative choices for success to Northern Michigan students.

Northwest Michigan

Networks Northwest is recognized as innovators in delivering integrated workforce, business, community, and planning services to ten counties of Northwest Michigan.

Michigan Works! Region 7B

Michigan Works! Region 7B Consortium serves Arenac, Clare, Gladwin, Iosco, Ogemaw, Roscommon counties.

Southeast Michigan – Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, and Washtenaw

Michigan Works! Southeast meets the talent demands of local employers and responding to the unique needs of the communities in Southeast Michigan.

Southeast Michigan – Wayne and Monroe

Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) serves Wayne and Monroe counties, providing workforce development and business services.

Southwest Michigan – Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren

Kinexus promotes integrated workforce, economic, and community development across Michigan’s Great Southwest.

Southwest Michigan – Branch, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and St. Joseph

Michigan Works! Southwest prepares a qualified workforce to meet the current and emerging needs of business and industry in Branch, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and St. Joseph Counties.

Upper Peninsula
