Staying Focused on the Goal

Last year, 99% of Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates participants returned to school – the highest in the Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) National Network. It’s because our specialists don’t do just one job, they work hard to fill many roles – teacher, guidance counselor, coach, and all-around cheerleader.

Unlike traditional dropout prevention programs, our programming is offered during the school day for elective credit. Our JMG specialists are highly qualified educators with experiences both in and outside of the classroom. We offer over 120 hours per year of student contact hours during the traditional school day and throughout the summer. All programming is aimed at keeping young people in school and ensuring they graduate.

Because of JMG, I want to come to school every day, stay positive and keep it moving forward.
