Employer and Postsecondary Events

Employer and Postsecondary Education Events provide youth with the opportunity to EXPLORE career pathways, have EXPOSURE to different industries, and gain work EXPERIENCE prior to attaining a high school diploma or GED. These events allow young people to meet professionals from diverse backgrounds, learn about the education and skills needed for certain careers, and narrow their career pathway of choice. These opportunities help youth connect what they learn in school with work site application to enable a smooth transition into the workforce, post-secondary education, or training upon high school graduation.
