Our Detroit partners are working to offer exceptional youth services to Detroit area youth. In Summer 2017, area partners will facilitate employment opportunities for over 8,000 young people under the leadership of Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan’s office. Many of our Detroit area JMG students will be among the young people employed! JMG Detroit is our largest service area with nearly 750 students participating in programming.

One of our newest regional partnerships, the Northeast Michigan team is committed to offering Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates programming to young people across Northeast Michigan’s rural areas. We work closely with the team at Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium to provide services in the Northeast Michigan region.
Our Northwest Michigan partners have been recognized as innovators in delivering integrated workforce, business, community, and planning services. Our primary partner, Networks Northwest, is the convening agency for the Regional Prosperity Initiative in the 10 counties in Northwest Michigan. The organization is committed to building stronger communities that enhance the quality of life in Northwest Michigan.

The inaugural Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates program launched in Benton Harbor in 2008 under the leadership of Kinexus. Since 2008, JMG programming has expanded significantly across the Southwest Michigan region in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties in an effort to provide a talent ready pipeline to employers. Expansion efforts have been led by the Kinexus organization, a dynamic non-profit that offers integrated workforce, economic, and business development.

We work in close partnership with West Michigan Works!, an organization that serves the counties of Allegan, Barry, Ottawa, Kent, Ionia, Muskegon, and Montcalm.
